The career of Dr Jo Linmans
As a general practitioner, I soon began to feel that conventional medicine was not providing an adequate solution in some areas. To restore the health of my patients in the long term, I wanted to address the true cause of their symptoms. I therefore saw the need to combine conventional medicine with aspects of complementary medicine.
I first followed a three-year training course to become a unicist homeopath at the Homeopathic Centre in Hechtel under the supervision of Dr Geukens. After several years of practice as a general practitioner-homeopath, I noticed that you can achieve some fantastic results with homeopathy, but you can't solve everything.
I then qualified as a chelation doctor at the International Biomedical Center in Leende in the Netherlands under the direction of Dr van der Schaar. The use of chelation therapy proved to be an added value.
Afterwards, I immersed myself in orthomolecular and nutritional medicine through self-study and by taking courses at the Faché Institute of Orthomolecular Science.
Following this, I spent two years working as a doctor at Energiekliniek in Aalst. This practice primarily treats patients with chronic quality-of-life problems who have not been able to find successful treatment elsewhere. The holistic approach used in this practice really appealed to me and I apply the principles of diagnosis and therapy in my own practice to this day.
I also continue to attend training courses, seminars and symposia in Belgium and in other countries.
