The correct diagnosis requires a thorough overall examination.

Healing starts with making the correct diagnosis. To do this, we use a wide range of examination techniques that enable your symptoms to be clearly identified.

Functional orthomolecular blood test

This is a basic blood test on intake that is recommended for every new patient in our practice. In addition to typical lab tests, a wide range of vitamins and minerals, antioxidants and the fatty acid profile in the blood are measured.

The hormonal status of the thyroid, adrenal and pituitary glands, and gonads is also examined in detail.

Any possible viral or parasitic load is also checked.  Finally, the functioning of the immune system will be examined.

Food intolerance test (food screening)

To do this, blood is taken from the patient and tested by an external laboratory for possible hypersensitivity to at least 25 different nutrients that are often found in our daily diet.

This test is especially useful in cases of chronic intestinal problems, but has also proven its value for any patient with chronic symptoms.

Health problems often arise as a result of disrupted intestinal function. An essential part of the treatment is therefore the optimisation of the intestinal wall and intestinal flora with the help of appropriate dietary advice and food supplements.

12-hour urine test

This examines the metabolites of the neurotransmitters dopamine, adrenaline, serotonin and GABA. This test can be useful for depression, sleep disorders, and concentration and memory problems.

Cortisol saliva test

A saliva sample is measured for cortisol four times in one day. This test is useful for excessive stress, burn-out and suspected adrenal problems.

Stool tests: intestinal microbiome

This is the latest generation of stool test. It allows an extensive genetic study of the entire population of intestinal flora. This test is useful in cases of chronic digestive disorders where dysbiosis, leaky gut or Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth are suspected.

Urine test for heavy metals

Poisoning with toxic metals such as lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury or tin places the body under considerable strain and can undoubtedly cause symptoms or illness.

Lead and cadmium are mainly taken in through environmental pollution in the air, while mercury enters the body from amalgam fillings, fish and vaccinations.

When a heavy metal load is suspected, this can be proven or excluded by means of a provocation test. This test measures the excretion of heavy metals in the urine after administration of a chelator. A chelator is a substance that binds with heavy metals in the body, which are then excreted in urine.

If the body is burdened with one or more toxic metals, a detoxifying treatment will be proposed using chelation infusion therapy.

DNA Genomics testing

If necessary, specific DNA profiles may be requested, which allows us to map out the patient's entire genetic code.

DNA methylation testing to determine your biological age. This test is especially applicable before and after QiLaser PRP treatment.

Our diagnostic techniques are a crucial starting point in preparation for making the correct diagnosis and creating a tailor-made treatment plan.
